TAVELLA LEGNAMI S.R.L. is a company specializing in the import and distribution of timbers and derivatives, particularly for carpentry and window and door manufacturers.

It has been in the wood business since 1973, when the founder, Tavella Giorgio, opened the sawmill, wood processing and sales of processed products.

Subsequently, sons Vanni and Pierantonio Tavella took over management, and the company evolved in relation to new technologies in the industry and market demands. The sawing plant is renewed with the installation of a new log saw; the machinery makes it possible to expand the customer base by also producing lumber for carpentry in addition to lumber for construction.

In 1995, in the face of increased market demand, the artisan sawmill business was abandoned in favor of importing and trading fine timbers from different countries around the world.

In 2010, TAVELLA LEGNAMI S.R.L. moved to the new industrial area of Sommariva del Bosco, renovated and expanded to be suitable to face the market in all its possible developments.

The well-established experience proposes a service that can meet and satisfy all kinds of demands, sourcing a wide range of raw and semi-finished timbers of different woods in the market.

Today Tavella Legnami S.R.L operates on an area of 26,000 square meters, more than 13,000 of which are covered, enabling the storage of large quantities of lumber, guaranteeing prompt delivery for even the most urgent orders from a wide range of customers in the national and international territory.

For the past few years, Giorgio and Luca Tavella, sons of Vanni and Pierantonio, have also been part of the company team. The third generation, bolstered by the experience of more than 40 years of parenting, brings innovative contributions and business strategies to the company to continue evolving, renewing and enhancing production activities.
